Got this error when trying to (re)install subgit. How can I resolve this?

subgit version: 3.3.11 running in a docker container with gitlab 14.0.1-ee.0

Hello Josef,

SubGit complains that it’s unable to create a new object in the Git repository. The most often cause of such issue are incorrect file permissions in the repository, especially if SubGit ran on behalf of other user before, worth to check them out.
