X-modules is not creating a dirctory in my repos

I followed the following guide Quick-Start Guide for GitHub - GitX - TMate Docs (tmatesoft.com) with the exception of using a brand new repo but it failed to create a new directory inside the parent respository

Could you specify in more detail, what has happened? In particular,

  • Have you installed Git X-Modules to your repositories (step 4 of the first part of the guide)?
  • Have you clicked “Apply Changes” after configuring your modules (step 7 of the second part of the guide)?
  • Did you see any error messages?
  • Have you deleted the modules after you discovered that they are not syncing?
